Kruzer 200 - $69.99, up to 220 lb

The lightest of the three at 11.2 lb, on 200mm wheels with a bar adjustable from 34.7 to 39.4 inches. A quick-lock fold and integrated kickstand make it the easiest to carry onto a train or stow under a desk. Best for smooth pavement and short trips.

Metro City 250 and Metro Cruise 250 - $79.99, up to 250 lb

Same 200mm wheels as the Kruzer but with front suspension added, which is what takes the sting out of cracked sidewalks and driveway lips. Taller bar range at 37 to 41.5 inches, rear brake with reflector, clear-coat finish. The middle choice for a daily commute on mixed surfaces.

Metro Urban Glide 300 - $149.99, up to 300 lb

The big-wheel option: 12-inch air-filled tyres on steel spoked rims, an extra-tall handlebar and a wide 4.7-inch deck. Air tyres roll faster and absorb far more than solid wheels, so this is the one for longer distances, rougher paths, taller riders, or anyone over the 250 lb mark. Rear handbrake.
