Swizzle is the Madd Gear range for the youngest riders, and it steps up in three stages: a balance bike for toddlers, a light-up scooter from three, and an activity board from five. Every one is backed by a 2-year manufacturer's warranty with US-based support.
A first bike with no pedals, so a toddler learns balance before anything else. Lightweight carbon steel frame at 5.9 lbs, adjustable seat and handlebar, maintenance-free 10-inch tyres, and motion-activated light-up wheels with a built-in headlight. Up to a 44 lb rider.
A 3-wheel scooter with pivot steering, so a child leans to turn rather than twisting the bars. The low, wide deck makes it easy to reach the ground and push. Adjustable handlebar, built-in headlight, folds for carrying. Up to a 110 lb rider.
An indoor activity board on removable swivel casters, with 10 activity cards and 5 activity shapes for guided games. Built for homes, classrooms and school gyms rather than the street. Up to a 120 lb rider.
Under 4 and still finding their balance, start with the Bike. From 3, once they can push and steer, the Scoot. From 5, and especially for indoor play on a wet afternoon, the Board.
